OXYGEN

Oxygen (O₂) takes up about 21% of the air volume and without it, life on earth is not possible. Oxygen is vital to the breathing of every living creature, and plays a central role in every energetic process, from striking a match to moving a giant power plant. Due to the importance of oxygen in many critical systems, the company holds large quantities of oxygen in storage tanks in the three production sites, Migdal HaEmek, Caesarea and Kiryat Gat, thus guaranteeing full and fast supply and backup capacity.

Oxygen is an oxidizing gas that does not burn itself. However, its presence increases the combustion. The contact of oxygen with oil, fat and other organic substances, especially flammable, causes flammability and explosions. Accessories used with oxygen tanks must be free from oil or other dirt. Do not use oxygen for ventilation, cleaning dishes or clothing. After emptying the cylinder, close the valve firmly and do not forget to leave the pressure cylinder at 2-3 atmospheres.
